This was hands down the hardest day of our entire project, maybe one of the top 5 hardest physical days of my life. We climbed and biked Mt. Shavano and Tabeguache Peak as part of a 22 mile, 8,500 vertical foot loop. I had just coming off an injury and been traveling (and adult beverage consumption that accompanies travel) I was not nearly as fit or ready for this project as I would have liked to be. But when opportunities for adventure come, you have to grab them.
